Zupreem Natural is also a excellent addition to a varied diet for Softbills. Softbills are birds which live on either fruit, meat, necter, multi-ingredient insectile mixtures not just bird seed. Certain breeds such as toucans, mynahs, lories and Peking robins are prone to iron storage disease, which is usually fatal. These birds require specially formulated foods with low iron content.

Zupreem Natural has a guidelines for low iron which are under 100ppm, with approximately the same look and feel and pellet size of the discontinued Low Iron Softbill  diet.
