Pagoda Cup

The Pagoda Coral is a peaceful and hardy coral that should be kept an adequate distance from other coral as it tends to grow fast. It needs moderate lighting and requires moderate current to keep coral surface free from debris. It likes to eat filter feeding invert food, brine shrimp, micro-plankton a few times per week, when open. This coral benefits from the addition of trace elements, strontium and calcium. Pagoda corals come in a variety of shapes and colors. They are also commonly known as scroll, cup,and ruffled ridge corals, although Pagoda corals have thicker skeletons than other common "Scroll" corals. Most common colors are green and brown with other variations of these colors showing up occasionally. Shape is highly variable, as this coral will adapt to whatever space it has available, and is found in many different locations.
